The damn ghost in the mirror
Says I should own my story
This phantom of my mind
He plays me so unkind
I would admit it's me drinking
But a ghost holds my tin cup
This self-made shade knows
It was me who ghosted me
Now my haunted eyes see
I'm a host to a ghost
And my reflection knows
He looks a lot like me
The only spirits I want to see
Are coloured amber
All is well
My AA sponsor's cell number
Is held hostage
By the ghost of a stranger
This self-made shade knows
It was me who ghosted me
Now my haunted eyes see
I'm a host to a ghost
And my reflection knows
He looks a lot like me
My psychiatrist says
What I'm imagining
Is caused by drinking
But what scares me the most
When I look into her red eyes
I see she has her own ghost
This self-made shade knows
It was me who ghosted me
Now my haunted eyes see
I'm a host to a ghost
And my reflection knows
He looks a lot like me
Now my haunted eyes see
I'm a host to a ghost
And my reflection knows
He looks a lot like me
Ohh this ghost
Looks a lot like me
