SongwriterLink is free to join and browse. Publishing your lyrics publicly requires a membership at £25/year (approx. $32 USD). This is not a paywall for its own sake — it is a quality signal. Every lyricist who publishes here has committed to the platform. There are no anonymous spam accounts, no bots, and no throwaway submissions.
Every lyric submitted is checked for originality before publication. We use plagiarism detection to confirm that the work is original, and every published lyric carries a verified publication date — proof of authorship that stands up.
Submitted lyrics are also checked for AI-generated content. SongwriterLink is a home for human writers. Lyrics that are substantially or wholly AI-generated are not accepted for publication.
Members can report any lyric they believe to be plagiarised. We take it seriously, and we act on it.
