I wrote a want ad,
And I am posting it on so many hydro posts.
And every store bulletin board,
When they let me --
I guess my want ad is asking the impossible,
It's hard to know how to ask for love.
So, I wrote this ….
Wanted:
A trailblazer,
To make my spirit soar.
To discover my secret places.
To go fearlessly,
Where no one has been before.
I need a pioneer spirit with a deep need,
Who is looking for a fresh start.
A lover to build a life of meaning,
In the wilderness of my heart.
I need an explorer …
Who knows how to navigate,
The untouched lands of my soul.
Who knows how to keep track,
How their love found me.
So, no matter where they find themselves,
They damn well know the way back.
Oh, trailblazer, when I am by your side.
Even your suspenders,
Will be holding on for dear life,
As you're in for one wild ride.

Perhaps what I want is the impossible,
But, if you like my want ad,
Please tear off the number below.
And make me a believer,
That one true love is possible.
