Don't tell me I have Parkinson's Disease
Cause I know, it reminds me every day
In hindsight, I could never envision
That life would dare treat anyone this way
Even with all my will, I can't stand still
Watching my unforgiving hand waver
Prayer tremors hold me steady
Will not someone please be, be my saviour
You know PD I shiver in living with you
You are moving me in unwanted ways
You push and pull till it's all I can do
To ask the world to stop, for just a day
Here I am shaking, lost in the taking
So shook up in what I just can't control
When every waking moment is making
It so hard now for me to be, consoled
I am the embodiment of this truth
In the last days, there will be earthquakes
And why I can't shake off this shaking
There is no stop n take a break, anymore
If you're shaken up watching me trembling
Don't stop to stare if you're feeling unmoved
The wending of PD is not a straight path
But, if you stand still, know I will be, moved
Don't tell me I have Parkinson's Disease
Cause I know, it reminds me every day
In hindsight, I could never envision
That life would dare treat anyone this way
Even with all my will, I can't stand still
Watching my unforgiving hand waver
I am never ever at a standstill
So, won't someone please be, be my saviour
