Ronald Balantang Delfin, professionally known as Rhydemic (and formerly known as Kiko Bataan), is an independent Filipino rapper, singer-songwriter, and music producer who was born on July 17, 2002, in the Marilog District of Davao City, Philippines. His musical journey began during his elementary school years when he started writing original lyrics, which eventually led him to join the local hip-hop collective known as 3 Ace Rappers MNTA to hone his performance skills within the regional Pinoy hip-hop circuit. The COVID-19 pandemic marked a major turning point in his career, prompting him to pivot away from group dynamics and launch a solo career to achieve complete creative freedom over his lyricism, vocal arrangements, and instrumental production.
