I have the gift of writing song hooks, verses and poetry. I believe that songwriting is a lot harder than it may seem and that Songs that become "hits" are most often due to crafting "brilliance". While I LOVE music and can carry a tune, I do not have the gift of writing melody or crafting an entire song that is radio worthy. The years have passed and I now find myself in my 60s fearful that much of my work will sit on the shelf forever. How could I start now trying to network / cowrite and leave my long-time profession as an Accountant (retired CPA) in the rearview mirror? So, I am going to try this avenue to see if it may be in the cards for my ideas to help someone (and maybe me too. I've always dreamt of just one idea/song that makes a difference). My favorite genre is Country Music, although I like multiple genres.
