Good Life SongwriterLink Open Mic

Looking for a fun and casual way to share your new songs with other Boston songwriters and musicians? SongwriterLink and Good Life Bar have teamed up to give local songwriters the opportunity to show what they’ve got and meet potential co-writers!

The first-ever SongwriterLink Open Mic Night will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Good Life Bar (28 Kingston Street, Boston). The event is 18+ with no cover charge — just show up with your instrument and share what you’ve been working on!

The event is open to all, but we’re looking for a SongwriterLink member to be the “featured artist” of the night and perform a 30-minute set at 10 PM. Click here to apply. The deadline is 11:59 PM EST on March 8, 2014, and the selected artist will be notified by March 13, 2014.

The event runs from 7 PM to midnight, but signups begin at 6:30 PM. We suggest getting there early since time slots are first come, first served. Each open mic performer will get a 15-minute set. Microphones, stands, and a PA will be provided.

The SongwriterLink Open Mic Night is open to songwriters of all genres. The night will be full of local music, good friends, delicious snacks from Good Life’s late night menu, special drinks and giveaways provided by Bulleit Bourbon, and much more! If you have any questions about the event, just email

We’ll see you there, Boston songwriters!
